Expeditions
The West Coast of Canada and Vancouver Island present a host of fascinating opportunities for exploration. The waters of the inner coast, though readily accessible to the major urban centres of Vancouver and Victoria, offer numerous protected anchorages that seem a world away. The natural beauty of these islands, from the semi-arid arbutus and garry oak groves of the southern Gulf Islands to the steep evergreen mountains of Desolation Sound, together with their small, bustling communities, give each island its own unique character.
The northern and outer coast of Vancouver Island is not so very different today from what it was in years gone by. Sparsely inhabited, pristine, and still home for many of the First Nations people, it is an ideal place to experience the grandeur of our natural world. Sailing in these coastal waters allows us to step back into a more unhurried time and reflect on our own lives.
Put together your own research, plan what you would like to see or achieve, and we will be more than happy to work with you in a voyage of discovery. See our current price list.

"When we got home Nigel asked everyone which was their favourite week from the whole five weeks in Canada. Unanimous answer “Jim's week on the boat.” We also agreed that Tofino would have been EVEN better had we been able to sail it with Jim giving us the benefit of his local and sailing knowledge. You made our holiday very special mainly by helping us to include the things in it that meant the most to us. You worked out what we enjoyed and produced an ever better itinerary for each day that you were with us. You put a lot of effort into our trip and we were very grateful to you for that."
